Terms of Use

Effective October 1, 2026

By using BYTHERIM (bytherim.com, including the BYTHERIM RP pages), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Independent fan site

BYTHERIM is an independent basketball commentary and entertainment site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), FIBA, any athletic conference, college or university, high school, NBA or professional team or league, AAU program or shoe-company circuit (including Nike EYBL, Adidas 3SSB and Under Armour Association), or any other organization named on the site.

Names, logos and trademarks

Team, school, conference, league and event names and logos, and national flags, are the property of their respective owners. They appear on BYTHERIM only to identify the teams and organizations being discussed or depicted, for commentary, reference and entertainment, and their use doesn't imply any endorsement. If you own a mark shown on the site and would like it removed or changed, contact us and we'll respond promptly.

Real players and statistics

The Big Board, articles, podcast and power rankings discuss real players and teams. Rankings, grades, comparisons and scouting reports are opinion and analysis, not statements of fact. Statistics come from public sources, including Barttorvik and Basketball-Reference, and may contain errors or be out of date.

The BYTHERIM RP is fiction

The BYTHERIM RP (the NCAA RP, Draft RP, Recruiting pages and RP Hub) is a fictional simulation. Its players, recruits, coaches' storylines, results, commitments, transfers and draft picks are invented. Any resemblance to real people, living or dead, is coincidental. Real school and team names are used only as the setting of the game. Nothing in the RP describes, predicts or reflects real events, real recruiting or the real abilities of any person.

Not for betting or decisions

Content on BYTHERIM is for entertainment and discussion. Don't rely on it for gambling, financial, recruiting or other decisions.

Accounts

Signing in with Google is optional and lets you save RP progress and boards to your account. Keep your Google account secure; you're responsible for activity under it. We may suspend accounts that misuse the site. Saves are provided as-is; please export important saves, as we can't guarantee they'll never be lost.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its database, scrape it at a disruptive rate, or use it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

Our content

BYTHERIM's original writing, rankings, graphics, podcast and simulation are owned by BYTHERIM. You're welcome to share links and quote short excerpts with credit. Please don't republish substantial portions without permission.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, BYTHERIM and its creators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including lost saves or data.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version is always posted here with its effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
